Start Your Tax Appeal
LandTax, LLC agrees to represent the owner for the purpose of filing a real property tax appeal for the above stipulated tax parcel. LandTax will file your 2012 property tax appeal, and work on your behalf to negotiate a lower tax assessment for your property. We will provide current market data to the Assessor’s office, and if needed, the Board of Equalization in an attempt to reduce your property’s assessed value to one that is more consistent with today’s market.
For appeal representation, owner shall pay LandTax a representation fee of the following for property tax savings for the tax year of representation.
Residential:
$165.00 plus 35%
$265.00 plus 25%
Commercial:
$395.00 plus 25%
The representation fee is due at time of owner’s request for representation. The percentage of property tax savings is due within 30 days of LandTax communicating findings to owner of owner’s property tax authority.
LandTax is authorized to act on behalf of owner in any and all proceedings before the owner’s local real property tax authority, including but not limited to: filing an appeal of owner’s current property value as established by local real property taxing authority, filing a property value with the local real property taxing authority, and appearing before the local real taxing authority. Owner agrees to promptly assist LandTax in any and all real property activities during such representation, as deemed necessary by LandTax. Owner gives LandTax authority to settle your appeal case when we deem appropriate.
Owner’s signature below authorizes LandTax to represent owner in all real property valuation appeal proceedings and activities for tax year 2010. It is agreed by owner and LandTax that the purpose to this agreement is to reduce owner’s real property tax and for LandTax to earn a representation fee and percentage of owner’s property tax reduction for tax year 2012.
